What is Called to LEAD - Faith-Filled Leadership?

Called to LEAD - Faith-Filled Leadership is an immersive program designed to equip emerging church leaders with the essential skills necessary for transformational ministry. This comprehensive program spans one year, offering a blend of foundational leadership courses, expert speakers, and hands-on project development. Participants will be guided through a journey, from vision setting to practical implementation of a faith-based leadership project, supported by ongoing mentorship from their designated Cultivator. At the end of this program, participants will present their Leading and Growing project and, if chosen, will have six additional months to work with their Cultivator. Seed money will be provided to execute their plan for leading and growing their communities with purpose and passion.

Program Overview

Kickoff and Welcome
The program kicks off with a warm welcome, an overview of goals, timelines, project opportunities, and year-long support from assigned Cultivators, setting the tone for collaboration and growth.
Emotional Intelligence

This course develops self-awareness and authentic leadership, emphasizing emotional intelligence to build collaboration, enhance team dynamics, and drive ministry performance, culminating in a research-based final project.

Adaptive Leadership

This course challenges participants to explore adaptive leadership as a solution for church growth through critical thinking and practical insights from interviews.

Equity Leadership
The course emphasizes fostering trust and belonging through inclusive environments. Participants will learn to design systems for success across all backgrounds and develop an equity-driven project framework.
Innovative Leadership
Participants will explore design thinking principles to craft innovative solutions for church growth and ministry, developing their own project during this phase.
Transformational Leadership & Change
Participants will gain skills to lead whole-system transformation, from assessment to implementation, and finalize their leadership project with defined outcomes.
Faith-Based Leadership

The final course challenges church leaders to craft and share a Christ-centered ministry vision that inspires their faith community, while preparing their final project presentation for the concluding session.

Final Project Presentation & Evaluation
In the final workshop, participants will present their Leading and Growing projects on fostering community faith, with evaluations and awards for meeting program goals.
Project Implementation
After the workshop, participants will launch their leadership projects with support from their Cultivator, including three one-hour sessions. The program concludes with a three-year strategic plan for sustainability and growth.
