This 15-credit add-on is for current and future athletic directors looking to develop or further enhance the comprehensive skillset needed for this leadership position. Our concentration is the only one in the state of Wisconsin to use the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) curriculum. Graduates of Concordia's program will be eligible to pursue national certification through NIAAA.

You must hold (or be working towards) an educational administrator license to be eligible for the athletic administration concentration. Add-on to your principal, director of instruction, director of special education & pupil services, or superintendent licensure. All 15 credits may be applied towards the master's degree in educational administration.

If you are interested in a degree in Educational Administration but do not need for licensure, the Christian Leadership specialization may be for you!  This program is designed to equip educational leaders with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual formation necessary to lead schools from a Christian worldview. Grounded in Lutheran theology and principle, this non-licensure option aims to cultivate servant leaders prepared to impact educational environments with Christ-centered leadership.

Students will learn about how decision-making, communication, conflict management, and leadership for change is used in the roles of principals, teachers, students, and other administrators. They will also receive an in-depth analysis of servant leadership as illustrated in Christian scriptures and scholarly literature.

If you already have a master's in education and hold/are eligible for an educational administrator's license, you may apply for our online Superintendent Licensure Program. This 21-credit program can be completed in one to two years through our accelerated 8-week courses with two required on-campus connections.

You can apply credits from this program towards the doctoral degree at CUW. Concordia grads are eligible for Uncommon Scholarships ultimately saving you both time and money on your Ed.D.

The virtual classes have been a great experience! I absolutely love the interactions I have had in these classes and it has all been from the comfort of my own home or my office. All of my classes have had great, relevant discussions. I love that in these classes I get to see other students, make connections and build relationships, and create a network of people - all who have similar goals!
