Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
What is it?
Chemical engineering is a field of study that involves transforming raw materials and chemicals into useful products through safe, sustainable, and economical processes.
Chemical Engineers address many challenges to benefit society- for example, energy, clean water, food, oil, and healthcare. With a foundation in chemistry, physics, and math, the curriculum includes material and energy balances, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, reactor design, process safety, and so much more. All of these will prepare you for a versatile career to improve your community and the world around you.

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering
What is it?
Industrial Engineering is a field of study that involves efficient design creation and continuous improvement of critical processes and systems by combining the efforts of people and technology.
Industrial engineers address challenges to make businesses more effective and productive. With strong foundation in math and basic sciences, the curriculum includes engineering economics, science and strength of materials, manufacturing systems and processes, work design and human interaction, production and operation analysis, modeling and optimization, simulation, and so much more to prepare you for a versatile career.

Sage and Zoey are both part of the Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) K-9 Comfort Dog program. Zoey's primary role is to assist in Concordia's Counseling Center and Sage focuses his canine skills in Concordia's School of Health Professions working with students in the animal assisted therapy certificate program.
Whether you are in those programs or use those areas on campus or not, you will often be able to see them walking in the halls throughout campus. Pets are always welcome! As it says on their vests, "Please pet me". They always love to give their comfort and love to students on campus.
