A perfect blend of rural and urban describes Concordia's 200-acre property on Lake Michigan in Mequon, WI. Located only 15 miles north of Milwaukee, there are plenty of professional and personal opportunities for students.

That means you have access to top-tier healthcare organizations and practicing pharmacists as you work to earn your PharmD degree. Participate in your pharmacy practice experiences and build your professional network at Advocate Aurora, Ascension, Froedtert, and other community hospitals and clinics.

I chose to attend Concordia's pharmacy school for the smaller class sizes, the dedicated faculty and staff, and the research opportunities. I will get opportunities to explore various paths I can take as a future pharmacist.

Pathways to Concordia Wisconsin's pharmacy school

Begin taking pharmacy graduate courses after you complete 56 credits of pre-pharmacy coursework. Apply to Concordia's pharmacy school through the PharmCAS system during your sophomore (second year) of undergraduate studies.

As a fast-track student, you will not earn your bachelor's degree prior to entering pharmacy school. It is not a requirement to hold a bachelor's degree to be a licensed pharmacist.

Pre-pharmacy course requirements for ALL the pathways

  • Biology + Labs (8 credits)
  • General chemistry + Labs (8 credits)
  • Organic chemistry + Labs (8 credits)
  • General Physics I (3-4 credits)
  • Advanced Science Elective Course(s) (4-5 credits)
  • Calculus (3 credits)
  • Statistics (3 credits)
  • English Composition (3 credits)
  • Interpersonal Communications/Public Speaking (3 credits)
  • General Education Electives (12 credits)

This is for individuals seeking to earn their bachelor's degree and PharmD from Concordia Wisconsin or Concordia Ann Arbor. You will be eligible to earn both your bachelor's degree and your PharmD in as little as seven years.

Take 56 credits of pre-pharmacy coursework along with the required courses for your bachelor's degree over the course of three years at Concordia Wisconsin or Ann Arbor with one of these degrees.

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Ann Arbor and Wisconsin)
  • Bachelor of Science in Public Health (Wisconsin)

Apply to Concordia's pharmacy school through the PharmCAS system during your junior year (third year) of undergraduate studies. This means you will finish your bachelor's degree during your first year of pharmacy school.

 

You will be eligible to earn both your bachelor's degree and your PharmD in as little as seven years. Attend an institution that Concordia has a Dual Degree partnership with and your first year of pharmacy school at Concordia will also serve as your senior year of undergraduate study from your undergraduate institution.

Take 56 credits of pre-pharmacy coursework along with the required courses for your bachelor's degree over the course of three years at the undergrad institution that has a partnership with Concordia. Apply to Concordia's pharmacy school through the PharmCAS system during your junior year (third year) of undergraduate studies. This means you will finish your bachelor's degree during your first year of pharmacy school.

Tuition costs
For the 2023-2024 academic,
the tuition per semester is $21,000.
First year (P1) Scholarship

Eligible students can earn an
academic merit scholarship for up to $14,000.

P2 - P4 Scholarships

Eligible students in their 2nd - 4th years of pharmacy school can earn scholarships for up to $10,000.

Pair a master's degree with your PharmD

This online program (30 credits) will build your skills and knowledge to evaluate the safety and efficacy of plant-based products. Explore the history, the science, and the business side of natural products to improve and innovate in this emerging industry. Your expertise in the therapeutic benefits and risks can help you better identify the best treatment options for patients.

Choose from one of two concentrations to align with your career goals and interests. 

  • Medical Cannabis concentration
  • Nutraceuticals concentration

Available as an online certificate (12 credits) in either concentration. It will help doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals better serve their patients.

The MBA program is flexible and can be taken online or in person. The business curriculum provides a strong foundation to use quantitative and qualitative data to be an effective decision-maker and leader. Choose to specialize in one of the program's 14 concentrations to enhance your pharmacist career goals.

Apply prior to starting your first year of pharmacy school. Earn your MBA credits while you are a student in pharmacy school.

This is a 36-credit dual-degree program.

  • (16) credits apply to your PharmD and MBA
  • (20) credits apply to your MBA

This public health program is 100% online and will be in the field of Medication Safety and Pharmacovigilance. Combined with your clinical expertise as a pharmacist, you can help improve the health and well-being at a population level with this dual degree.

Apply prior to starting your first year of pharmacy school. Earn your public health credits while you are a student in pharmacy school, or complete the MPH credits after you have earned your PharmD.

This is a (39) credit dual-degree program.

  • (12) credits apply to your PharmD and your MPH
  • (27) credits apply to your MPH
