You're Invited:

Writing Workshop - June 10

Build your writing skills

In high school you likely wrote many essays and short answer assignments. But what types of writing will you face in American college? Do you know what writing styles are used in different fields? What is a Writing Center and how can they help? Join us to get a head start on preparing for American college writing expectations.

Our presenters are Eric Adams, Concordia University Wisconsin’s Writing Center Facilitator and Catherine Murau, Michigan Language Center’s Academic Director.

Also in attendance will be Kelsey Marquardt, Concordia University Wisconsin & Ann Arbor’s International Admissions Coordinator and Tessa Raymond, Michigan Language Center’s Operations Manager to help with any admissions questions you may have.

Join us June 10th at 10 AM CDT

Can't make it? We'll send you a recording a few days after the workshop.

Your academic writing skills are important in and out of the classroom! Stretching those writing muscles and learning what is/isn’t appropriate in different situations could mean the difference between an ‘A’ and ‘B’ paper, your professor understanding your request, or landing a great internship.
